Ministry of the Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
Distribute the Holy Communion at Masses with priests. As a general rule, members of this ministry are invited the parish priest only. At SFX, we also invite parishioners who have served as Extraordinary Ministers at their home parishes.

Education Ministry
Children’s Liturgies: Every Sunday during 11am mass, for children aged 4 to 12.
First Communion: 16 weekly classes to prepare children, aged 8 or above, for their First Communion. Weekend classes are held at SFX and, if circumstances demand, weekday classes may be held at teachers’ homes.
Confirmation: 28 weekly meetings to prepare teenagers, aged 13 or above, for Confirmation. Weekend classes are held at SFX and, if circumstances demand, weekday classes may be held at teachers’ homes.
Catechism Classes: (Group and individual) – to journey with those who are called to the Catholic faith, leading to receiving the Sacraments of Initiation.

Alter Ministries
“We are not lip service Christians, we must act out what we preach. Show God’s love for others because of His love for us. A perfect way for us to show our love for the Lord is through service in lay ministry.” (MT 26:40)
